Salterns are south coast main dealers for Volvo Penta, Yamaha, Mariner, Yanmar, Mercury and Mercruiser engines situated in Poole.

• Outboard engine maintenance and servicing Yamaha and Mariner engines. We have four full-time outboard engineers
• Inboard engine maintenance and servicing for Volvo Penta, Yanmar, Mercury and Mercruiser engines engines.  We have four full-time inboard engineers
• GRP and wood repairs and maintenance.  We are able to undertake a wide range of repair work.
• Valet cleaning and preparation of customers' boats.  We use sophisticated cleaning materials and techniques, as well as elbow grease,  to enhance and preserve the appearance of GRP, inflatable and wooden boats

Our fully factory-trained marine technicians have vast knowledge and experience in carrying out any work requested, from a first service to a complete engine overhaul.  We are equipped to carry out service and repairs as part of your engine manufacturer’s warranty.  Full repowering facilities are available – details on request.

Our technicians are updated regularly with manufacturers, RYA and BMF training courses as well as health and safety issues.  They have the facilities of one of the best workshops anywhere with the latest tooling, including electronic test and diagnostic equipment, outboard test tank and a fabrication area.
